Get your essay, poster and video submissions to us before midnight Eastern Standard Time! The photo loader is scheduled to be disabled at midnight also! Good luck to all!04/28/2012 - Things that aren't where you are.
We thought long and hard about this when we created the contest and realized that certain things would not be in certain areas. For example, a Planned Parenthood or (as recently reported) a tire swing. In these cases, we can't approve photos if they are not the actual object/place being described in the task. Part of the reason why there are so many tasks was to try and make it a non-issue. Some people are closer to their Senators and others are not. Some live near a beach and others live on a farm, etc. We hope you all can appreciate the complexity of creating a well rounded task list while at the same time addressing the activism/message points of NPLTW.04/28/2012 - Pickett Fences
This task has been updated to read, "Leaning or standing next to a white pickett fence." Someone pointed out that it would hurt to actually sit on a pickett fence!Stay involved on Facebook!
