About NPLTW
Every abortion kills a living human person—that is a fact. From the moment of creation to the moment of birth, there is a child that is undergoing a period of remarkable growth and development. Abortion stops that miraculous growth cold and robs the world of all that child would have accomplished. That person is lost.
NPLTW is organized by American Life League with the intent to increase awareness of the personhood of the child in the womb and the tragedy of abortion.
Primarily, we are concerned with getting people to think of the child as a person from the moment of his or her biological inception. It is much harder to murder a person than it is to "remove a lump of tissues," and it is only when we finally get the nation thinking in those terms that we will be able to restore the right to life of our preborn brothers and sisters.
Just by wearing the T-shirt and being out there in public, you will help to accomplish that goal!
About the NPLTW Photo Contest (and now other activities)
Three years ago, American Life League started a photo contest and associated it with National Pro-life T-shirt Day. The idea was to get as many people wearing a pro-life shirt out into the public arena to more effectively show how prevalent pro-life sentiments are.
The contest had quickly evolved into a nationally recognized event involving hundreds of youth for over a month of solid pro-life activity. In 2010, there were almost 4,000 photos submitted for the contest. Last year we expanded the contest and had two events which captured close to 10,000 photos.
This contest is perfect for someone who has not done any type of pro-life activities as well as for those who have competed in the last two years. We are adding many new features to the contest this year to keep it interesting and to open the contest even more so that everyone has a chance.
